We have removed Symantec antivirus from Spectrum primary DB server yesterday & restarted the server. Now the primary DB server status is “RUNNING “ But the secondary to primary switchover is not happening. In spectrum control panel some error message is also showing. Screenshot of the same is attached herewith for your reference. Symantec AV is running in secondary server & One click server. We have removed Antivirus in primary DB server only. Kindly guide to resolve this issue.

As far as i know, the messages in your screenshot are typical for 9.4.1 or 9.4.2 and are not relavant for your problem.

I’d encourage you to open a ticket with our Support team as this is usually something that takes some digging to figure out.

    Cheers

PS – As Frank notes, the message in the VNM is not indicative of this issue.  There was a delay in calculating Internal Port Link Status (IPLS).  If the messages continue to appear, then investigation into the models can be done (are those ports down?  Network delay? etc).

Note: this was corrected. The .vnmrc file was inadvertently renamed to .vnmrc.vnmrc when editing in Windows. After restoring the file name

the problem of failing over corrected itself.
