I would like to run a typical IT PAM macro, when the status of the task is completed. Will you help me please. ? If possible, I would like you were doing a screenshot that explains the steps to follow. thank you,
You did not mention what versions of Service Desk and IT PAM you are using.
I assume you mean launching an IT PAM process from a Classic Workflow task when the task status is set to Complete.
1. You need to define a Macro in Service Desk (Administration --> Events and Macros --> Macros), Type = "Execute IT PAM Action", Object Type = "Workflow Task". The field "CA IT PAM Definition" provides the link to the IT PAM SRF.
2. Go into the Change Category Detail, Workflow tab and select the Workflow Task.
3. Select the "Complete" Status and click on the "Update Actions on True" button. Search for the "Execute IT PAM Action" macro you created earlier and move it from the "Possible Actions" column to the "Actions on True" column.
Version IT PAM = CA Process Automation 4.2 SP02
Version SDM = Service Desk Manager 14.1
I did not understand step 2 (2. Go into the Change Category Detail, Workflow tab and select the Workflow Task.)
Could you detail me please.
Administration tab, Service Desk --> Change Orders -- Categories, select the Change Order Category that has the (classic) workflow you want to modify.
My client does not want to attach tasks to the category. He would like to insert automatically through IT PAM tasks when creating customer demand. Is it possible to assign the status of the job status to a macro?
I guess that I did not understand your requirement and it is still unclear to me what you are trying to accomplish. Could you explain in detail the use case?
