I have a question, It's possible put a link or button to export any document like a project charter, project closure to Excel?
What is a document? A Crystal Report? A Jaspersoft Report? Both come with the means to export to Excel. Jaspersoft has a few more export options than Crystal.
Most portlets have the ability to export to Excel, too - though some system provider portlets (e.g. "My Projects" does not (not even in 14.2 ).
If you ask, "I'm looking at an Issue's properties page and I want to export it to Excel, can I?" the answer is no. However, you can add a link to the Issue objects Actions menu such that you can run a report where the contents of the report contain the content of the Issue. The report can then be exported Excel.
Using Actions, one may be able to call a job or procedure that would put the Issue's content into an Excel format and save it somewhere - but this is not out of the box capability. Someone out there may have done this and have 'how-to' info for you. Myself, I would recommend generating a report from the Action menu - we do this know for issues, which when printed for our customers need to be in a certain format. Once in a report, the user then has many options, especially with Jaspersoft, on if/how to export, not just to Excel.
