  • 1.  CABI Error: Internal error occured while calling "Create Document" API

    Hi,

     

    We have CA Service Desk 14.1 integrated with CABI 4.1

     

    We are trying to open Web Intellingence and access a universe, create a report; we are getting the below error:

     

    An internal error occured while calling 'Create Document' API. Error(Err_WIS_30270) (WIS_30270)

     

     

    Have assigned full rights to the universe.

    Hi Priyanka,

     

    Does this error occurs when trying to open WEBI using rich client also? Does OOTB reports works fine? Does the logged in user has CA ServiceDesk Manager groups added?

    Hi Naveen,

     

    Have tried accessing WEBI using Java Launchpad as well as Rich Client but facing the same issue. Also, have added the Administrator user to the Service Desk manager group and tested. No change.

    Hello Priyanka,

     

    The WIS_30270 error can show up in several places, like in 'CreateDocument' or in 'answerPromptsEx' (if the report has parameters).

     

    Please try these steps to resolve:

    1. Log into the Business Objects CMC
    2. Go to the 'Servers' area of the CMC
    3. Double-click on the WebIntelligenceProcessingServer server to open the properties
    4. Scroll down the page and uncheck the 'Enable Real-time Cache' checkbox
    5. Click 'Save and Close'
    6. Highlight the WebIntelligenceProcessingServer server which should now have a flag next to it
    7. Right-click and select 'Restart server' for the change to take effect

    8. Retest the document

    I am still searching for a solution, but have not found any additional information yet.

    If you have not already, I would also recommend putting in a Service Desk CABI issue with CA support to also assist.

    Hi Gale,

     

    Support Issue was raised and the error was resolved after reinstalling below distributions:

     

    shared.tp.aurora.microsoftvcredist8-4.0-core-32

    shared.tp.aurora.microsoftvcredist8-4.0-core-64
