LISA Workstation 8.0.2 is not working. It worked fine for friday but from today morning it is not working and it was throwing an error message like "Timed out trying to connect to test registry".
look out registry log what error it's throwing. start enterprise dashboard server before registry.
It was throwing an exception in registry log like "java.rmi.remote.exception:Timed out trying to connect to test registry"
open command prompt do telnet ipaddress port(telnet 127.0.0.1 2010) , lets see the registry is up and running ?
Yes we are able to ping & connect(telnet) to the IP
Since you are able to do telnet, there might be other issues.
check the Registry logs if there is any errors
If there is any errors. Stop/Kill all the process and restart the component and try connecting the workstation.
1.Sometimes registry might go down due to out of memory in that case you need to increase heap size depending on your hardware requirement.
2. Out of space exception in that case you need to clear the temp logs. By default log files will roll of. if not try this option.

would you be able to save the registry.log file and then restart the Registry to see if it resolves the problem? We can then look at the log file....
