I noticed that we have the following setting

introscope.autoprobe.directivesFile=default-full-legacy.pbl,hotdeploy,spm-legacy.pbl

What is the difference between a *-legacy.pbl and normal pbl?

Which one should we use?

What is the legacy mode used for?

CA APM version is 9.1.5

Legacy Mode Files Location

The product provides legacy mode PBD and PBL files in the <Agent_Home>/examples/legacy directory. Each of the file names in this directory has a -legacy suffix, for example, default-full-legacy.pbl.
