Can any one explains the run time databases in Pam? And also how do u basically trouble shoot the Pam process using those
I'm not sure I completely understand the question. PAM has a set of 3 databases that are setup on install, Repository, Runtime, and Reporting. Repository holds the information you see in the PAM Library in the GUI. So any process definitions, datasets, etc. The Runtime database holds the information you see on the Operations tab in the GUI. So any process instances. And the Reporting database holds info used to build the reports you can access in the GUI.
We do not recommend doing any troubleshooting at the database level unless support is involved and had recommended this. Basic process troubleshooting should be done in the PAM GUI using the Process Designer tab as well as the Operations tab. If a process fails, you can open the process instance in PAM and find the operator that failed (marked in red). Select that operator and look at the dataset for that operator. This should show an error and/or a reason for the failure.
