Datafinder:How to create data multiplier script for synthetic data generation in DB2 database , i have tried the options it is not working?
Okay, so you have not responded to my request. Here are some steps that you "might" have missed:
Right Click on Project
Select Project Properties
Now, over on the far right, there is a double arrow (Hover and it states Advanced options) Click that double arrow.
Look for the entry File Publish DBMS: and select the properDB2 for your system and Click the save button in the lower right.
This should get you going.
Can you give me a step by step as to what you did to determine the script was not working?
By choosing the correct option for the File Publish DBMS, you will get the correct syntax upon file publish. Its the project properties that your context is set to that determines the dialect of SQL produced. So if it is set to Oracle, Oracle is used. If DB2 - then DB2 dialect is used.
Just a note, Les. Your steps are absolutely right. However, I tried this in 4.3 and was told DB2/MVs was not supported. I am talking to DEV to see what the options are.
