I am trying to virtualize the tranactions from a Java thick client application which is installed on my local machine.
Can some one suggest how to deploy the agent for this application?
What does this thick client application talk to when it is being used by a user? Some more details on that would be appreciated.....
Thanks for the reply.
Actually this application talks to DB and some interfaces as well. Based on the data query or selection made in GUI it will pull the data and display in the GUI. How can i virtualize this swing application.
CAI (Continuous Application Insight) is your friend here . If you are starting the thick client from the command line you could inject the CAI agent into the startup such that the actions you perform in your GUI will be shown in CAI as transactions.
What version of Lisa/DevTest are you using?
Im using LISA 7.5 and im not starting this client from command line. there is an URL provided which is kind of downloading the jar files from remote location into my machine and open as thick client application.
Any Suggestions for this issue?
