It's essential for system admin to be able to view all jobs in the Job Log. Currently the only jobs that appear are the user's own, and those marked as Shared. What's the best work-around until this access right is added to Clarity PPM?
You can ask that again.
Firstly not all jobs leave a log entry or any trace at all.
There is a log enabled field for the job definitions. By default that is set off for some jobs like time sheet posting and for some jobs the definition is hard coded to by pass that like time slicing. Database queries of various types to the job run and job schedule tables (examples of which you can find if you search these discussions) are the best feasible way. TO catch the time slicing you have to run the query just when the job is running. Bear in midn as far as Clarity is concerned reports are also jobs.
Thanks, @urmas. Which job run and job schedule tables are useful for looking at the jobs which have executed? For example, can you advise which table(s) contain the job log entries that can be seen by the user who submitted the jobs?
