Connect remote Virtual DB using a local Javacode using JDBC and LISA DB Simulator

I have written a small local Java code to connect to the virtual DB (VSE) running on a different machine. When I run this java code on the same machine where the virtual DB (VSE) is running then I am getting a simulated response and everything is working fine. When I use the same code to run it from my local machine instead of getting the response from the virtual DB I am getting it from the actual DB

I know I must be missing something really basic....because the connection URL, mentioned below, no where mentions where the VSE is hosted. it just mentions the simulated port.

Below is the URL I am using

String url = "jdbc:lisasim:driver=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver;state=PLAYBACK;jdbcSimPort=xxxx;url=jdbc:oracle:thin:@actualDB:acutalPort/actualServiceName";

LISA version : 7.5.1

VSE hosted on some machine, say with IP 100.200.300.400

From local machine when I ping the remote IP i am able to get a successful reply
