  • 1.  For reviewer to put comment on Rejection

    Posted Aug 31, 2015 03:47 PM

    Dear team,

We want reviewers to enter a comment for every rejected entitlements on his list if it does not have a warning.

    Can we force this?

I know if an item has a warning we can force them but what if it does not have one. Is there any property setting which enables us to do this?

    Please suggest.

    Thanks,

    Satya

    Hi Satya,

The question asked is not quite clear. Can you detail the product that you use? The tag used was governanceminder. Is the question asked related to governanceminder? If possible, please provide the use case to explain the issue.

    Thanks.

    Satya,

Currently the feature you are looking for is not available in the out of the box product.

We can force a comment only in case of a violation.

Is it possible to retrieve the button pressed (Approve/Reject). If yes, then we can handle this in handleValidation() method of BLTH and throw an exception, forcing the user to enter comment in a desired field.

    Yes. This is possible.

During the creation of the Certification, under Display of Violations, Select a dummy Violations on Audit Card and select the Require Comments when rejecting items.

This works even if there are no violations.
