    Hi,

I am having couple of fundamental questions about usage of CA SPS, require your suggestions.

Q1. Does it require any additional configuration or proxy rules to access the files(html/fcc) which are deployed in the Apache's htdocs folder below location on a CA SPS server. I am getting error while access it.

              D:\Program Files (x86)\CA\secure-proxy\httpd\htdocs

Q2. SPS configuration creates an OOTB authentication scheme in SM with the below login page uri which is under Tomcat server and also part of the proxyUI application. I am having trouble after enabling SSL. My apache (proxy) server serves the pages with SSL, however not able to access the pages(Login.fcc) with SSL, works with port 8080. Do I need to enable SSL separately to Tomcat server too ?

              /proxyui/siteminderagent/forms/login.fcc

Q3. Which is the recommended folder location to keep my login.fcc and other fcc files on the SPS server.

    Regards

    Ashok

    Hi,

There would be no files in htdocs folder for apache build in SPS. If you want to protect this apache then you need to copy the forms folder to

    "D:\Program Files (x86)\CA\secure-proxy\proxy-engine\examples\siteminderagent"

Yes to enable SSL on SPS you need you can follow the steps given https://communities.ca.com/message/110912434#110912434

For proxyui login pages you can keep them under "D:\Program Files (x86)\CA\secure-proxy\Tomcat\webapps\proxyui" and to get the login page for apache webagent you can keep them "D:\Program Files (x86)\CA\secure-proxy\proxy-engine\examples\siteminderagent" , these are the default locations.

    Hope that helps.
