I want to upload document in as a knowledge base under Knowledge tab, but i cant see any option under it. Also i want to create manual knowledge document under knowledge tab..How can i achieve this both?
You cannot simply "upload" a knowledge document. The Knowledge Tools functionality is very complex. It does have an "import" function, but to use it you have to have it set up in a certain format - this is documented in the online documentation. To create a knowledge document, first you have to create a knowledge category - this can be done by going to the administration tab, then go to knowledge, and then knowledge categories in the tree on the left. This will pop up the knowledge categories window. What you can do is click on File > New Category, and create a category, then save it. Then you can close out of the category window, go back to the main service desk window and click on the knowledge window, then right click on your new category that you created and select "new knowledge document".
