In Resource Object--> View, there is view called resource Finder Filter View.
I have added "skills" from available fields, but want to see where it will reflect..
That is the path I took to view and make any changes.
If I do that and take Skills off, then you get this view instead, so the two are related and apply to eachother:
(No more Skills in the filter).
You can also verify by looking at the 'view code' in the URLs.
For the Studio object filter configuration:
For the end user navigation to the Resource Finder list view page configuration 'gear' icon:
They are the same.
If your changes don't appear to be applying:
a) Check if you have partitioned the Resource object, as you'll have to make sure you make the changes to all or the correct partitions
b) Confirm the URLs are referencing the same view codes
c) If a user has configured their own Resource Finder screen on the user side, then on the Studio side you would need to Publish the views, or the user would need to use the Restore to Defaults action in order to inherit the changes you make in Studio to the view/filter layouts.
That view is found from Home > Resource Management: Resource Finder, and if you add Skills to the filter it would appear like this:
If you go to customize from the page that you showed, it shows resource portlet.I cannot make changes here that will reflect to all users..
Have you tried by going through the path I mentioned?
In Object-->Resource--> View tab , there is view called resource Finder Filter View. Is this different?
below URL provided by you is taking to the same page (path I mentioned).
However, here only few fields are appearing and not what I see (like in your screenshot).
I have even published changes (from all partitions), but changes are not visible
Its done! After making changes and saving and return, the partition was getting changed and hence, publish was not effective!
One thing I noticed, in front of view, personalized tick mark is removed, why? How can I get that back?
