CA Service Management

  • 1.  Unified Self Service - Configure Data Sources CA Service Desk Manager 14.1

    Hi,

     

    I have 14.1 and Unified self service both installed and up and running independently.  I login to the USS interface as an administrator and go to Settings>Data Sources>CA Service Desk Manager.  I fill in all the details, load up the certificate and when I press save or test connection, i'm getting a message saying Required Fields are missing.  I'm not seeing what it's not liking.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    That did do the trick, however when I click on the Test Connection button i get the following error....

     

    Error connecting to ServiceDesk Manager.

    The Base URL mentioned is not correct. Cannot reach a valid CA Service Data Source web service.

    The system was unable to log you in. Please make sure the provided credentials are right.

     

    This is strange as when I go to that URL I can login as the same user to which I am currently logged into the portal as.  Both these applications are on the same box.

    Sorry I did not look at the original URLs properly earlier


    First URL should be SDM tomcat URL 


    Second one is relative URL for WsDL of SDM. Example: /axis/services/USD_R11_WebService?wsdl

    The base URL should be http://hostname:8080 according to the update from Raghu.

    Hi,

    in customers environment SDM 14.1 is reachable via https:

    https://<SDM-Server>.de:8443/axis/services/USD_R11_WebService?wsdl 

    works fine and gives wsdl.

    In USS

    https://<SDM-Server>.de:8443

    /axis/services/USD_R11_WebService?wsdl

    throwes the error: The Base URL mentioned is not correct. Cannot reach a valid CA Service Data Source web service.

     

    Using 8080  is recognized as correct URL, but does not work because https has to be used.

     

    Can you help?
