Could someone please tell step by step procedure to integrate LISA with HP ALM. I am using LISA 6.0 and HP ALM version is 11.52. I am using Win7 64-bit machine.
Thanks in advance.
The ppt attachment has all the steps.
If you are still having an issue, you might ought to open a Support case.
I also advise you to upgrade to a supported version of DevTest since LISA 6.0 is no longer supported. It went out of support October 31, 2014.
We will still answer questions for that release but no further patches will be created.
LISA 6? That's not supported anymore. I doubt we can make it work. Why on such an old version?
I don't think, with HP ALM 64-bit VAPI Interface will work .
KPMuthe_Echostar HP ALM is 32-bit only.
@shefana Muller, some where i read we can integrate LISA 6 with ALM 11.5. Please share the steps to integrate.
Could someone please provide step by step procedure to integrate LISA with ALM.
I just got this link that we can integrate. : ITKO Solutions: HP/Mercury
Thanks in Advance.
See this Communities link:
Please read document carefully, we do not support 64-bit software with this plug-in.
As per the attached ppt file: If you have a 64-bit machine, with 64-bit LISA/DevTest and/or 64-bit JVM, your test LISA/DevTest cases will not run with the ALM plugin. This is not supported as this is a limitation with HP.
But i am using 32-bit LISA. Only my machine where LISA and ALM is installed in 64-bit. And as per the ppt:
It has been tested and certified that LISA/DevTest ALM Plugin will work on a 64-bit Machine with 32-bit LISA/DevTest, 32-bit browser and 32-bit JVM but it will not work in a 64-bit browser or with a 64-bit JVM or 64-bit LISA/DevTest. The process needs to run in 32-bit mode only.
I should be able to connect to LISA using ALM.
Please provide the step by step description.
Thanks in Advance
You can install the LISA 32-bit software on a 64-bit machine.
LISA is already installed. ALM is also installed. I want to do integration between LISA and ALM.
