IIS is set to passthru authenticate service desk users, This is done by setting basic authentication on Windows authentication to true in IIS. Service Desk 14.1 then uses EEM to authenticate users.
Hi THemba - the only way to authenticate non-domain users would be to create a separate access type in SDM that uses "PIN" authentication - which uses the "contact ID" field (NOT userid, but contact id) on the contact record as the PIN password - which is stored within the MDB. You would then add those non-domain users to the new access type that uses PIN authentication.
Hope this helps,
Thank you Jon . I will test this scenario and give you feedback .
