Team, I am aware of the cost plan time slice curves that are available in total as well as detailed formats.
However, some financial ppm shops define forecast as follows:
YTD Forecast $ = (YTD Actuals $) + (Plan $ of future months)
For example, it's the middle of Oct and most places will have September officially closed for actuals. So forecast YTD can be defined as a sum of YTD actuals until Sep 30 and cost plan dollars for Oct, Nov and Dec.
Is there a timeslice that captures this kind of thing without me having to get a developer write a big SQL?
Your input, if any, is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
