Has anyone had any experience with installing a Nimsoft Robot on Redhat 7.1 release?
Support have suggested I ask in the community.
Support have got back to me with the following:
It appears there is some confusion in our documentation, but RH7 is actually supported for 64-bit systems.
Can you please try the following version of nimldr:
along with this file:
when you download the second file, rename it as follows:
(strip off the -7_80 from the filename).
This is case-sensitive and it's important that the file is named exactly install_LINUX_23_64.zip.
Place this in a directory e.g. /tmp and when prompted, provide only that path (/tmp and not /tmp/ or /tmp/filename.zip... etc).
Have had no issues with this. just follow the process for what you would do on a 6.x server and it works fine we have at least 20 robots running on 7.1 RHEL or 7.0 Centos
If you however mean installing it as a Hub I cannot confirm this works
Are you having issues then?
Yeah a strange one really. During the install it keeps asking "Where do we keep the install files?"
I type /tmp but it keeps asking the same question, as if the files are not there, but they are!
Interesting that you have got it working though! Which version of the Robot did you install?
