Any tips on turning a working BlamePointTracer into a FrontendTracer?

I've written a nameformatter extension, and it works great...  as a BlamePointTracer...  metrics show up fine..

It flags up incoming RESTful webservices calls..

I tried to convert it to a FrontendTracer, by changing over to that tracer type.... see below

# JAXRS Annotations Blamepoint Tracer

SetTracerClassMapping: JAXRSAnnotationsBlamePointTracer2 com.wily.introscope.agent.trace.hc2.FrontendTracer com.wily.introscope.probebuilder.validate.ResourceNameValidator

#SetTracerClassMapping: JAXRSAnnotationsBlamePointTracer2 com.wily.introscope.agent.trace.hc2.BlamePointTracer com.wily.introscope.probebuilder.validate.ResourceNameValidator

SetTracerOrdering: JAXRSAnnotationsBlamePointTracer2 70045

SetTracerParameter: JAXRSAnnotationsBlamePointTracer2 nameformatter com.wily.field.nameformatter.JAXRSFormatter2

SetTracerParameter: JAXRSAnnotationsBlamePointTracer2 useblame true

IdentifyAnnotatedClassAs: javax.ws.rs.Path JAXRS

TraceAnnotatedMethodsWithParametersIfFlagged: JAXRS javax.ws.rs.GET JAXRSAnnotationsBlamePointTracer2 "Webservices|{path}|{classname}|{method}|GET"

TraceAnnotatedMethodsWithParametersIfFlagged: JAXRS javax.ws.rs.POST JAXRSAnnotationsBlamePointTracer2 "Webservices|{path}|{classname}|{method}|POST"

but the metrics don't show up... anyone got any advice that may help?
