  • 1.  Perform business logic on 'reassignment' of workflow item

    Hello team,

     

    IDM Version : 12.6 SP5 GA release.

     

    Objective: To perform a specific business logic when a 'work flow item' has bee reassigned. The business logic here would require access to some of the user attributes and fail the reassignment action if the business conditions do not meet.

     

    Challenge: I am unable to get hold of this change through a BLTH/Event Listener/Workflow Context/Notification API. 

     

    Could you help me with some tips/ideas as to how to get hold of the reassignment change that's done on the approvers tab of an approval task.

    Kumar,

     

    I think we need a little bit more data on what it is you want to do.

    I think the process is that the workflow is starting after the BLTH and event listener.

    So It may be that you need to create a custom workflow with the business logic.
