  • 1.  Recommended LLAWP app pool

    Posted Dec 16, 2015 09:44 AM

    Hi All,

    Greetings,

Is there any recommendation that LLAWP should run with specific application pool, not like 32 bit or 64 bit app pool, Ex: consider we have 10 websites are running under one IIS server

and all are using different app pools, in that case which app pool should use the LLAWP process to work for all applications.

Thank you so much in advance,

    Shankar

    Hi Shankar,

This depends upon the first website that is accessed.

As SiteMinder module is defined globally.
The user used to start the LLAWP process depends on the application pool defined on the website/virtual directory that you are first accessing.

It does not matter even if the website is not protected with SiteMinder.

However, we have now fixed this in the newish version , such that now the LLAWP will start under the context of the application pool users of the first SiteMinder protected website which is accessed.

You should have a new version of WebAgent available soon in R12.52 SP(x) CR(x) stream, which would support multiple app pools (with 32 or 64, with classic or integrated). There is an Enhancement Request available and it is in progress to be delivered.
