  • 1.  Cannot connect mdb while reconfiguring

    Hello Team,

     

    i just setup a new sdm on a fresh server with fresh sql. After restoring my production mdb on a new server and when reconfiguring sdm, it says 'cannot connect to mdb' see screen shot

    Database and application are both on same server, i already changed the server name to sdmdb2 in dlgtsrv table after restoring mdb. please suggest.

    Hi Laqa,

     

    Did you run the query after restoring the MDB:

     

    sp_change_users_login 'AUTO_FIX','ServiceDesk'

    Hi Naveen

     

    I ran

     

    Sp_change_users_login

    'Update_One','servicedesk','servicedesk'

     

    Ran on mdb not on master..

    hello All

     

    Issue resolved

     

    it was servicedesk password error

     

    i have now reconfigured it.
