  • 1.  Using PRESET to set property values

    Posted Dec 29, 2015 06:04 AM

    Hi,

    I am using PRESET in create_new function. I am able to set the summary, type, priority etc attributes through PRESET.

    But i want to set the properties values also. I tried below mentioned line but it doesn't seem to work.

    'PRESET=properties:$args.properties.value'

    Kindly let me know how to set the property values through PRESET in create_new function.

    Hi cbscoreteam,

      The CA SDM variables begging by dollar sign $  and can be:

    • Simple Variables
    • Property Variables
    • Environment Variables
    • Business Object Variables
    • List Variables

    $arg VARIABLES = Business Object Variables

    official Documentation: Server Variables - CA Service Management - 14.1 - CA Technologies Documentation

    Which Property do you need?
