We currently require PMs to update status reports for projects on a weekly basis. Works fine. However, we also require them to enter "significant actions" ("sigacts) into a massive spreadsheet for management review. These sigacts are not always necessarily project-centric, though. They can be accomplishments by our Center of Excellence, training courses conducted or planned, tools and reporting or operational issues like system outage. The multiple entry of sometimes the same information is causing lost morale.
Does anyone have ideas on how to track something like sigacts? My initial thought was to wire up status reporting of sigacts to the resource, but am not sure if that would work (or how).
