our company just setup API gateway .
we already have LB , webserver ,app server , db server .
where I put the API gateway ?
who can tell me the traffic flow if I install API gateway in our network .
The API Gateway is designed to fit into a number of different deployments and network configurations - its placement really depends on what your business needs are, and what you intend to use the Gateway for.
Most of our customers tend to use the Gateway to protect API's in their private networks. Based on the very limited information you have given, I would suggest that the API Gateway may fit behind the LB (you would use the LB to manage traffic to the Gateway), and in front of the webserver, app server, db server. This way the Gateway could be used to surface and protect whatever is present on the web server and app server.
There is not enough information here to give you a very informative answer. I would suggest that you talk further with support or your sales rep to better define the problems you are trying to solve, and then how the Gateway can help you solve those issues.
