Installed SDM 12.9 on Win 2008 R2/ SQL 2008 but facing issues with services. The service doesnt start even after starting manually.
Error 1067, the process terminated unexpectedly. Any suggestion.
Is this the same environment where you attempted the upgrade of SDM, and you are not able to run configure? If so, then you certainly will not be able to start services there. If this is a different environment, not related to the other one, then this could be caused by a number of things. First I will say that by default, Service Desk services are set to start manually, and we do not recommend changing that to automatic due to the number of dependencies the product has on other things. We would need to see what is in the logs to determine what may be causing this problem, but again, if this is the same environment which you were attempting the upgrade on, then this problem would be fixed by doing a proper migration as I explained in the other post.
did you check all logfiles, also those of the installation?
This is the same set up where we tried to run the upgrade to 12.9.
As suggested by you, I will attempt the process again.
