Hi Jesus,
One way to achieve this is to have an application APPL1 which defines a dSeries webservices job WEBSERV1 and have an event APPL1_EVENT which would trigger the application APPL1. In Application APPL2, when an a job fails, you can invoke an alert which can execute a javascript and trigger APPL1 via the execTrigger command. In order for this to work, you will have to implement the webservice for submitting the ticket. The option userparameter1-4 can be used to pass arguments to the application APPL1 and the job.
execTrigger('eventname','ADD | REPLACE','time','NOHOLD | HOLD', 'userparameter1','userparameter2','userparameter3', 'userparameter4','rootjob');
You can find more details on the execTrigger command in the CA Workload Automation DE - Programming Guide on the support portal.
Note: To take advantage of the web services job type, you will need to install the web services system agent plugin.
Please let me know if you have any further question.
Regards,
Pradeep
