  • 1.  Volume Trend Crystal Report Giving Error

    Hi Team,

When I am trying to run the crystal report either from Service Desk 14.1 or from Java Launch Pad, I am getting the following error:

    volume and trend.png

Other reports are running as of now. I have CA BOXI 4.1 SP3 running on Windows server 2008 R2.

Kindly provide the solution for this.

    It is very urgent.

    Regards,

    Balram

    Balram,

Failed to open connection usually means the user logged into CABI doesn't have permissions on the Universe object, or the Universe's Connection object,  OR  the Universe is not able to connect to the underlying database (SDM ODBC layer in this case).  I'd recommend starting with if the connection settings are correct -  http://www.ca.com/us/support/ca-support-online/product-content/knowledgebase-articles/tec595754.aspx
