Does CA SDM require a separate server for the mdb? We are attempting to install SDM and create the mdb on the same server to use in our test environment. However, during setup I am getting an error when connecting, "TCP/IP connection to the host has failed. Check server name and credentials". I have ensured port 1433 is correct, enabled remote connections, checked client protocols (and priority), verified ports are listening, ensured admin acct was created successfully, and ensured 32-bit native client installed and running. We are not seeing anything in the logs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
