I'm trying to set MailEater in CA SDM 12.9, we have an account in Office 365, but did not get the tickets they think we are following these guidelines:
Are there any errors in the ServiceDesk logs to indicate if maileater is able to establish a connection to the Office 365 server?
Thanks for your post.
we are having some problems with the conection and we can not create tiquets automatically. We need this functionality because we implemented last year.

I will be very plasure about your help!
POP3 -> that error seems to me that you made a connection to the SSL port and not the TLS port.
IMAP -> It almost seems to me that the authentication is failing. Maybe wrong user/pass ?
if it is right that you claim me, and I corrected it, but I still get the error, what I find interesting is that the platform is attempting to connect to port 143 and does not reach the port 993 which is configured.

In order to use maileater with office 365 you need to configure TLS since office 365 does not allow unencrypted connections, now as i see from your config TLS is disabled. More info on how to configure TLS can be found here:
[12.9] TLS / SSL at Google Mail Accounts
Good catch Gutis. I saw the earlier picture where it said yes. Did not see the latest one. Thank you.
Additionally a certificate path needs to be defined as well.
We utilize O365 and Mail Eater in our organization and it took us a while to get it properly configured. Although we are currently running 14.1, we configured initially under 12.9, that is why there are a few differences in the screenshot I provided below. The guidelines you referenced in the beginning contain good instructions, however, based on your screenshot, I, like the others, noticed a few setting that you need to adjust.
Change the Host name to: outlook.com
Use TLS = yes
Also mentioned, you will need to use a certificate and the linked instructions mention how to obtain it and where to save it. Be sure to set the CA certificate path to the location of the saved certificate. Ensure that the path includes the file name, not just the path tothe folder. Example: e:\mailcert\SDcert.cer
