Hi Community,

I'm wondering if it's possible to manually trigger an alert message?  I spent a few hours today playing with the showAlertMsg function but haven't been able to get it to work.  We're not using Special Handing and I can't accomplish my goal with that functionality.  I'm trying to display a message to power users to inform them to review a guide before updating a contacts contact/access type.

I've tried variations of the following code and can't figure out how to get the alert to display.  Does anyone have an idea how to do this or if it's even possible? Thank you!

<PDM_IF $ACCESS.FAC_cnt >= 2>
showAlertMsg(msgtext("test"));
</PDM_IF>

if ( $ACCESS.FAC_cnt >= 2 ) showAlertMsg(msgtext("test"));

    if ( $ACCESS.FAC_cnt >= 2 )
    {
        showAlertMsg(msgtext("test"));
    }
