    MS SQL Client is used to connect to MS SQL database by which driver for the following components. example PAM is connection through "jdbc" annd CABI through "ODBC"

     

    1. CA Service Desk Manager r14.1

    2. CA Service Catalog r14.1

    3. CA APM 14.1

    Hi tremo01,

     

    For APM 14.1, SQL Server client tools is required to be installed.  Most customers use the SQL Server Native client driver (ODBC) for connectivity.
