  • 1.  LDAP problems on Service Desk

    Hi comunnity, i have a problem with LDAP on SDM. The integration it's fine, when i try to append the LDAP attributes to a new contact the register of the AD appears but dont show the name, last name, and on the username shows data like this:

     

    CN=Ali Briceño,CN=Users,DC=lab,DC=bancaribe,DC=com

    Hi aebmknrl,

    LDAP is normally straight forward and well documented in the admin guide. Did you follow all the instruction and troubleshooting steps there including a pdm_ldap_test to see any errors returned?

    Also did you do any mod to the ldap object ifor the mapping to your AD?

    Hi jmayer pdm_ldap_test does not return any errors. I don't do any changes on the ldap object.

    hi again,

    can you share your ldap.maj from the bopcfg/magic folder and  show  us the list of user attributes from your AD?

    you will have to compare sthose to see if the mapping is correspondin to your ldap directory.

    If those correct this must be a bug and you may want to create a support case
