  • 1.  How UNAB authentication works for external applications?

    Posted Feb 23, 2016 03:48 PM

    Hi Everyone,

We have installed UNAB on RHEL server and an application installed on same server. End users access the application via their own application portal and use AD credentials which works pretty good.

In some cases, when user tries with invalid credentials after some login attempts the authentications service is hung and no longer accepting the valid user logins. So they are forced to restart their applications to launch a new authentication process, which accepts the valid credentials.

Can some one help me in understanding this behavior, what's the setting that's blocking the authentication?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Karthik,

It may be best to open a case with CA Support, because this question may become very tedious for the Communities.  We would ask for user traces and uxaudit's at the very least to even see if we are intercepting any system calls and user transactions.

If you would like to, you could always reference myself, or someone else in particular, that you would want to work with during the development of that case.

    Take care,

    Eric
