Recently, I have seen two instances in which CA Service Desk was upgraded from 12.6 to 14.1. During the CA BI Configuration for CA Service Desk Manager, I always get the error in Configure Data Direct OpenAccess 7.2 ODBC (64 Bit) Client step. To resolve it, I need to login to the CA Service Desk server and uninstall the ODBC services, install them again and then run this step. Then this error don't come. But later, if I repeat this step again, it will again start to give error on this step.
What could be the reason for that?
The reason why I am saying that it happens only during upgradation because recently, I set up in the LAB environment, fresh installation of CA SDM 14.1 and CA BOXI 4.1 SP3 (on separate servers) and there was no such error (irrespective of how many times I run it).
