One of our application team wants to embed UserID and Password in the login request, Encrypt it and asking us if it can be decrypted by SPS and then authenticate. The resource is protected with BASIC authentication and non encrypted URL will look like below.

  1234567@apps.testko.com/egalaxy" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://USERID:PASSWORD@SPS_Frontend_url.com/URI

Any help would be much appreciated!

I dont think this can be achieved with the Out of the box features, You would need to write custom code for the implementation.
