And while log on top wsp web page which opens says "AHD04400:Argument error".

Hi Rajagopal,  can you confirm if you are running Web Screen Painter from a workstation or on the server itself?  What user are you attempting to log into WSP with?   Also was this system upgraded from a previous version, and if so, what was the starting version and what is the current version?

This will help us to get an idea of what the problem may be.

    Thanks,

    Jon I.

Rajagopal, also, are you using an Advanced Availability setup with a Background and Standby servers?   If so, are you attempting to run WSP on the background or standby?

    Let us know,

    Thanks,

    Jon I.

    Hi Jon,

I have installed the setup on a windows 8.1 x64 machine, and this is a conventional mode setup. I am trying to log in using ServiceDesk account. I had once come across the same error in a windows 2012 r2 machine as well and I had reinstalled the complete setup and it resolved the issue. This is a fresh installation of 14.1 with c1 patch and I have restored the back up from production environment.

    Thanks and Rgds,

Siddartha, the error was on the env_remote_host and from

the stdlog is shows its value is

    fe80:0:0:0:7446:9df6:105:2beb%4

Can you check your NX.env file to see what you have for

    @NX_PROTOCOL_ONLY

    ?

Also, can you post the output of "ipconfig /all"?

I think you may set NX_PROTOCOL_ONLY to ipv6.

    Thanks

    Chi

    Hello Chi,

I tried modifying NX.env entry as you have suggested, but after modifying the entry service failed to start. It was IPV4 earlier.

    Thanks and Rgds,

Does this server have IPv6 or IPv4  enabled,  or both?

Open a command prompt and type:

    ipconfig /all

    It should show that.
