I try to record a use case with the portal, but I don't have our custom delimiter (custom DPH).
I have verified the custom DPH JAR is on hotdeploy folder.
Is the portal load the JAR of hotdeploy?
Thank's for your help.
Can you restart the Registry once and check it is picked up in the DevTest Portal UI? I know that defeats the purpose of hotdeploy folder but please give that a try and report back....
I restarted the registry.
I have got just this line with hotdeploy (no load of JAR):
2016-03-18 14:19:21,497Z (14:19) [main] INFO com.itko.lisa.test.Environment - HotDeploy: /opt/CA/DevTest/DevTest-9.1/hotDeploy
And you still do not see the dph in the UI?
The DPH is the same of the 8.4 so maybe there are some deprecated function?
Let me check with one of my files and will report back on this. Any jar is not picked up or only this one custom DPH?
No JAR from hotdeploy is picked up
We had the same issue with the version 8.4 when we star component in command line.
you can see the ticket: CA Support Case 00328610
I installed the workstation and the custom dph was loaded:
So I think it's the same issue of the the case 00328610.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
If you are starting your DevTest component from command line, then you will have to add your custom DPH extension jar into the DEVTEST_HOME/lib folder instead of hotDeploy. Try doing that, and restart your Registry and Portal components.
I tried your solution, it doesn't work:
I tried to put my JAR to:
I stop/start the service, the DHP is always missing to the portal.
You are on Linux, so did you verify the owner, group and the file permissions on the jar files? Do these properties match those of the other jar files?
Yes,it's the same permissions of the other jar files:
