    Hello Team,

Wanted to send this reminder for this change that will be taking effect tomorrow past midnight.

From April 1st, 2016 CABI images will be removed from CA Support site for Spectrum as well as SOI. As communicated through email notifications and earlier webcasts, we have altered our agreement with vendors and customers who procure CA Spectrum or CA SOI after 1st April will get Jasper as the reporting platform. Existing customers, they get CABI support as always, in addition they get Jasper too

    Below is what will happen:

    1.  The CABI images will be pulled from GA releases

    2.  New customers do not get CABI (BOXI based)

    3.  If an existing customer wants to obtain CABI, they will need to call into Customer Care earlier known as GSC - who will perform the entitlement check and will then provide the CABI image(s) to the customer

Please do not hesitate to reach out to use if you have any questions or concerns. Local support teams are aware and prepared for the change as well.

If you have any suggestions to make this smoother, please shout out..

    Regards,

    Kiran Diwakar

    Hello Kiran,

what will be the future of the Spectrum Service Manager Reports.

Will CA provide them for Jasper or is this part of the Service Manager product dead?

    Best Regards,

    Olaf

    Hello Kiran,

a new customer will only have 6 OOB reports available at the moment. No Service Reports at all.

And no Ad Hoc reporting in other areas like Alarms/Event/Assets.

It would be nice to allow new customers to start with BOXI furthermore, if they have the need for additional OOB reports.

In accordance to your process definition CA Support refuses assistence for new BOXI installations.

    Regads,

    Olaf

    Hello Olaf,

We would have loved to do that - but our contracts with the vendors are structured in such a way that new customers get only Jasper entitlements. We are working very hard to get more reports out in the coming weeks. Please stay tuned.

    Hi Kiran,

Any ETA as to when the new report image downloads will be available for SOI v3.3 to use? Will the Jasper report work with 3.3 or only 4.x+?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Hello Dan,

Jasper will work with only 4.0 CU1.While no technical challenges, some contractual things - will not bore you with that
