Any put Service Desk Manager or PAM on AWS?

    Is this possible?

    Hi Joe,

Do you perhaps want to elaborate on your query? At this point it is somewhat vague.

    Kind Regards,

    Brian

Can AWS be used to host a server containing either SD or PAM?

As opposed to traditional servers or being hosted on VMs in a datacenter. I don't know why it wouldn't be possible off hand since they both seem to be built to run off a cloud service, but would rather know an exact answer.

    Does that help clarify things?

AWS is just another VM container so is no reason to not work either If I don't know may CA have a official statement around it.

I do recall several years ago to have use AWS for disaster recovery with hot standby of SDM. (running a offline copy of SDM prod +  SQL mdb replicated)

    Hi Joe,

Jerome is correct here - basically AWS is just a platform in which VM's run on (just like VMware or any other flavor of that type of thing).  As long as the box meets the hardware and software requirements, there shouldnt be any issues with installing and running service desk or any other CASM application on it.   That said, CA does not have any official support documentation around it, but we dont see any issues with using it just as you would any other server VMware platform.

    Hope this helps a bit.
