Hi Mike, You're very welcome and I'm glad you like the format. Yes, it appears that all of those "golden gems" we've included in the Popular Links topic in the documentation are very popular:

Good looking stuff John. Tell all involved a customer really appreciates having this all 'in the box' at launch. The first things I go to are what's new, changes in the architecture stack and the performance whitepapers. Everything was easy to find.

Tell all involved we say "Thanks!"

Hi Rob, thanks so much and you're very welcome! I'm really glad to hear that everything was easy to find. I'll pass on the thanks to CA-TECH-INFO-DAMON and Sarmistha_Purkayastha.

    Cheers,

Thanks, agree with Rob about having the documentation at launch.

    If

Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Enterprise Edition: Service Pack 1

is supported (according to the Release notes compatibilities)

    please add the Compatibility level

    for that in

Review the Imported Database Options for MS SQL

... though elsewhere in the installation section that is properly stated.

When searching for 14.3 it seems that the version number is not updated in many places in the installation section more so elsewhere.

    Hi Martti,

Thank you for the feedback. I've just put on my "to do" list to get the "Review the Imported Database Options for MS SQL" updated with the Compatibility level.

    Hi Martti

Found the information in Change impact guide, hope this helps

MS SQL Server Database Compatibility Level

Release 14.3 supports database compatibility levels for SQL Server 2012 (119) and SQL Server 2014 (120). A new installation of Release 14.3 on SQL Server 2012 has the correct compatibility level of 110. If you are using SQL Server 2014 for Release 14.3, set the compatibility level to 120 from SQL Server Management Studio or use the following command:

    EXEC SP_DBCMPTLEVEL <database>, 120

SQL Server 2005 compatibility level (90) has been removed and is no longer supported.

To identify the compatibility level, use the following query:

SELECT NAME DATABASENAME ,COMPATIBILITY_LEVEL COMPATIBILITYLEVEL FROM SYS.DATABASES

Thank you guys for you comments and answers.

Please tell me if I have a communications problem:

What I am trying to say is add that into this

and that I can see the correct value give elsewhere. ;-)

    Hi Martti,

I believe that I understood what you were looking for. In that topic, we need to remove the information about MS SQL 2008 because we don't support that anymore in Release 14.4. We also need to add, right after MS SQL 2012, information about MS SQL 2014 because we now support that in Release 14.4.

So, we would have information there just for MS SQL 2012 and MS SQL 2014.

    Correct?

    Thank you Martti.

    - John

    Hi Martti,

If you please, check the most current documentation and see that this has been fixed:

Set Up the CA PPM Database

    Thank you,

You could have made the change also for
    https://docops.ca.com/ca-ppm/14-4/en/installing-and-upgrading/set-up-the-data-warehouse

which is also the same in 15.1 documentation

Good catch urmas, thank you! I've just updated the "Set Up the Data Warehouse" section in our source documentation site (14.4 and 15.1) so it now references MS SQL 2012 and 2014. The next time we republish the documentation (TBD) you will see this update.
