Hello,
We use USS for ordering the services in catalog as front end to the users, and servicedesk team is looking for direct link to services/orders in USS instead they give navigation.
Currently, i could find this big link however looking for an option to get the link from USS (like copy the URL from browser should be an ideal solution) and send it to users in email.

Hi Sharath,
I found a easier way when i was looking for the same short links to take you directly to a service in USS to log a new call.
use the Browse-Catalog portlet and just add a ?id=12345 parameter where the id is the id of your service, like this:
https://servername:port/web/frontoffice/browse-catalog?id=10171
hope this helps
Andries
Hi Andries,
I have given a try and it always end up on browse catalog page only but it’s not taking me to the specific service(ID).
Is it working for you.
Hi
I just tried Andries advice and it works, please make sure that the servername is the USS host server and not the catalog server.
Thanks
Sivu
Glad you came right
Hi just check that you changed the server name and the port to your local ones for your environment
Sorry the test was on Friday ;
Now, I have checked and you are totaly correct.
Thanks much...Cheers

Hi,
you can also try short url to order, example for order id 15461
https://servername:port/web/frontoffice/myrequest-catalog?id=15461
