CA Service Management

  • 1.  Requested for - Empty userid

    We normally can have two contacts for the same person, because of different roles and the same user can have different supervisors/line managers.

     

    Since ca_contact (SDM) doesnt allow two active contacts to have same userid, one will be with userid and other one without userid(systemlogin),

     

    Now, when we want to order some services in catalog by selecting the second contact (without systemlogin) since the line manager is different and we need the approval for the selected line manager catalog doesnt allow me to select the empty userid contact.


    Its display as depicted below. can any one give me somethoughts how to address this. I dont want to populate the system login with some dummy value..:(

    Hi Sharath.

     

    Working within Ad, EEM, SDM, SC and PAM, needs a userid filled in.

    So, my advise is to build your environment on that given fact.

    Louis is correct - for you to assign a user, they must have a userid; you can't have duplicates.
