CA Service Management

    Hello guys,

     

    I wonder if anyone here has had contact Service Desk integration - CA solutions for monitoring, as the UIM to share with me the experience and point out how these integrations occur through events fired a solution that reflected in the Service Desk.

     

    There is some material that can help me understand how the service desk is "triggering" events that could open calls in the same coming from other solutions, for example?

    Hello Ana,

     

    Are you referring to specific CA products, such as CA Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM) and CA IT Service Manager (ITSM - Formerly Service Desk Manager)?

     

    If so, please provide the product and version names as that will help.

     

    Note that the home of UIM is here: CA Infrastructure Management

     

    Data in and out of CA ITSM is typically handled by Web Services calls or emails.  So if your application that you wish to integrate ITSM with can handle either of those, then you're off to a good start.
