  • 1.  Cannot add system created date to portlet

    Hi Folks,

     

    I just created a custom object and it automatically creates a system attribute called created date. I want to add this attribute to a new portlet that I have created but the attribute does not show up in the list of attributes that are available to add to the portlet. I checked other portlets that I had created and this system created attribute is available. Not sure why this is happening. Any ideas of what could be causing this. I am sure it is just something simple but I can't seem to find the simple answer.

    Hi Chris,

     

    Can you give us more information about the type of portlet you created and how you defined it?

     

    Which provider did you pick for the portlet?

    Thanks so much Jeanne for getting back to me. I just figured out my problem. I was thinking I had the portlet defined to an object but if fact we had a query written for it. I just had to go in and add the attributes I was looking for to the query.
