Hello,

Is there a way to get status of the API Portal (on-prem) status by using any ping URL. Like we can get the status of the gateway node using https://<hostname>:<port>/ssg/ping.

As we discussed today there isn't a Portal equivalent to the Gateway ping

I am looking into your second question in regards to checking the status or portal behind a load balancer.

I'd definitely suggest filing an Idea in our CA API  Management Community here to officially request the API Portal receive functionality similar to the ping function on the API Gateway. You can create a new idea at the CA API Management community located at ca.com/talkapi and clicking on [Actions] > [Create an idea]. Don't forget to vote on it yourself after it's been filed, as the CA Communities do not auto-vote on your behalf (yet).
