CA SDM 12.7 & Knowledge Documents & RIP categories

For CA SDM 12.7 ... is there any way to "attach" or associate a knowledge document to a RIP category? For various reasons, the property questions feature won't work for this, and I'd like to make sure that when a specific category is selected for a ticket, the document is somehow ... available (required, actually). Alternately, could I put a url link in the property questions that will actually take the ticket creator to a required document?
