Sharepoint 2010 Initiated SSO to Siteminder Protected Application

Looking for a high level design on implementing SharePoint 2010 Initiated workflow to Siteminder Protected application and vice versa.

Example. I have 2 Sites say a.com and b.com. Where a.com is protected by siteminder against Active Directory[sayad.com] and b.com is a sharepoint site [2010]  and ia authenticated against same AD.com however this site is non siteminder protected.

Use Case 1: User logs to a.com and if user want to access b.com then sso should be enabled

Use Case 2: User logs to b.com and if user want to access a.com then sso should be enabled

    please advise

    Thanks

    Hi Manjunath,

In order to get SSO between 2 different sites (a.com or b.com), you should

enable Federation between both, or have SiteMinder to protect both side

and share the same key store.

Note that you can protect SharePoint server with an Agent for SharePoint

which one will integrate with SiteMinder.

Tell us if you need further precisions.

    Best Regards,
